Trump’s $5,000 Dividend Becomes a $7,200 Bil

Trump’s $5,000 Dividend: Estimated Delivery Date

Based on the DOGE dividend and other unfulfilled payment proposals, this is our estimate when Trump’s promised $5,000 will finally arrive.

Estimated Delivery Date: January 22, 2029

Based on the progress of the proposed DOGE dividend, the proposed $2,000 tariff dividend and several other checks believed to be navigating Washington’s internal postal system, MaybeBS can now reveal the estimated delivery date for Trump’s latest $5,000 promise:

January 22, 2029

That is precisely two days after Trump’s current term in office is due to end.

The date was calculated using the government’s advanced Political Promise Delivery Formula:

  1. Take the original promise.
  2. Multiply it by the number of television appearances.
  3. Divide it by available congressional approval.
  4. Add four years for processing.
  5. Schedule delivery immediately after somebody else becomes responsible.

Officials from the fictional Department of Deferred Prosperity stressed that January 22 is only an estimated date and does not guarantee that money will actually be delivered.

“Your $5,000 is definitely on its way,” explained fictional payment coordinator Cashley Ledger. “It is currently waiting behind the DOGE dividend, the tariff dividend and a very large envelope marked ‘Other Promises—Do Not Bend.’”

Americans will be able to track their payment online. Its status is expected to move through the following stages:

Promise announced → Crowd applauds → Details pending → Congress blamed → Under review → New promise announced

At noon on January 20, 2029, the payment will automatically become the responsibility of the next administration. Two days later, every eligible American should receive an official government envelope.

Unfortunately, instead of containing a $5,000 check, the envelope will explain that the dividend has been retrospectively deducted against personal expenses incurred since the midterm election.

After administration fees, tariff adjustments and a compulsory contribution towards processing the original promise, each recipient will have an estimated balance of:

$7,200 DUE

Citizens are advised not to spend their promised $5,000 before receiving it—unless they have already spent $7,200 preparing to repay it.
